Obi Alligator S454 with 4.5-inch display and quad-core processor launched for Rs 6,450

Obi Mobiles has launched a new Android KitKat-powered smartphone, the Alligator S454 in India. This smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with support for 18 Indian regional languages. The MRP of device is Rs 7,990, and has been made available at a best buy price of Rs 6,450. The device is available through all major stores across the country.

The device has been tastefully designed offering premium looks, while the use of high-density polycarbonate plastic makes for a durable and lightweight device. Coming to the specs, the Obi Alligator S454 sports a 4.5-inch display with qHD (540 x 960) pixel resolution, built using IPS technology, which offers better colour variance and contrast levels as well.
For performance, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The internal memory on board is 8GB, which users can expand up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Obi Alligator S454 comes with dual-SIM connectivity (both slots supporting 3G), Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, and GPS . The battery capacity is rated at 1,600mAh, which as per the company, delivers eight hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The phone supports FOTA updates, and comes pre-loaded with Truecaller and Hungama apps.

Photography is handled by an 8MP autofocus camera on the back with an LED flash, and a 2MP shooter on the front. The camera features include face detection, face beautification, HDR mode, Multi Shot, and Panorama mode.
