What's New in Mixpanel

Merge data on the fly, create reports with AI, slice analyses in new ways — it was a busy month for our team. We hope you enjoy these upgrades in UX, analysis, and data governance.

Plus, we refreshed Funnels and Retention reports. For example, you can now explicitly define funnel steps of interest, use time to convert as a trend line or breakdown, and calculate total revenue drop-off in a funnel. Check out the change log for a full list of the updates.

Merge data with Borrowed Properties

'Borrow' a property from another event on-the-fly and leverage it for analysis as though you've tracked it all along. Merging data between disparate systems like client-side vs. server-side has never been easier. No re-tracking or complicated joins required.

Segment users by their actions with Behavioral properties

Sometimes you need to understand which actions correlate to a key outcome. Behavioral properties allow you to find critical correlations by breaking analyses down by how often the user performs another action. Now available in Insights, Funnels, and Retention reports.

Our new governance setting makes it easier to get ahead of data issues in your project. With data volume monitoring, you can be notified via Slack or email whenever any tracked event unexpectedly spikes or drops in volume.
